LOVE WINS

Giving Tuesday

Blog and Fundraising site will get updated.

Quick note: Raising money for my beautiful grandmother who is now living with the Angels in Heaven. She passed away from bone cancer in late May and I would like to honor her in my upcoming races with my team. Help donate to a great cause! ❤️

We have been challenged as a team to raise $900 this week! We are getting started and I know that WE can reach that goal! I know everyone is scrambling to find gifts for loved ones, why not give to save a life? Its Giving Tuesday and I will be doing Giving Tuesday series in which you donate and can give me names of someone you would like to honor. Someone will write those names on my body and I will share with the team at swim practice so that we are reminded of who we are training for!

New beginnings can happen anytime you like

Sharing my blog has never been my thing. I find a lot of insecurities in sharing me to a whole mass of people. However, with a lot of life changes happening right now, I have always found that jotting my thoughts helps me process what's going on and what's important. Like anything else, it needs attention and scheduling into your daily life. Here is to discovering wonder in all things... through health, fitness, spiritual wellness, love, business, world views, everyday life lessons and adventures.

Foam roll and power flow yoga

When you have been inactive, your body will tell you you're out of shape! Yoga freaking kicked my ass, so swim drills will have to wait til' Tuesday.

Did I mention we are raising money to say, "Fuck you to cancer?" Our team goal this weekend is $300. Who will be my first donor? We'll go out for happy hour this week! ❤

One mile at a time

This is me attempting to document the next few months with We Will Find A Cure.

Does anyone else tell themselves they'll work out, but opt out for something better? Story of my life these past few months, but no more. Got my ass to the gym after work, and ran a mile on the treadmill with a smile and at a decent pace. Followed it up with one full body circuit to tighten things up. Looking forward to tomorrow's morning yoga flow and swim. Night night! ❤

11 For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.

Stomach flu and the blues

I have been fighting this stomach flu for several days now. Its awful and miserable, but sometimes you need to get things done... of course, your body will point out that you need to chillax. I took a break from the bed and the pounding headache and fever has returned, my mind is pacing, and my body hurts so much I can't fall asleep. Perhaps jotting it all down can clear the mind and I can have a restful night.

In these slum hours, my saving grace has been Rick Astley, ice chips, and water. I was listening to mainstream and all the sappy and heartbreak shit was bringing on the waterworks.
